About the service
Nutrition isn’t one-size-fits-all.
This is a highly individualized nutrition assessment designed to meet you (or your child) where you are—whether that’s navigating the first trimester, preparing for postpartum recovery, breastfeeding or formula feeding, introducing solids, managing toddler nutrition, or addressing picky eating.

Does this sound like you?
Let’s Get StartedIf you’re worried about...
My child isn’t growing the way I expected.
Is my baby or child eating enough?
Am I eating the right things during pregnancy or postpartum?
Can my child get everything they need on a vegetarian or vegan diet?
I’m worried about food allergies or intolerances.
I don’t know what to feed my child (or my family).
If any of these sound familiar — you’re not alone.
Every family’s feeding journey is different, and a Nutrition Assessment can give you the clarity, support, and practical tools to help your child (and yourself!) feel nourished and thrive. Let’s figure it out together.
What’s Included:
- Growth that tells a storyWe look at more than just percentiles. By tracking weight, height, and growth trends over time, we get a clearer picture of how your child is developing and whether their nutrition is meeting their unique needs.
- Nutrition AssessmentWe look at what your child eats day-to-day—including food variety, portion sizes, feeding methods, and routines. We look for patterns, red flags, and opportunities to strengthen their diet with practical, realistic strategies.
- Feeding Behaviors & Mealtime EnvironmentIs your child refusing certain foods? Grazing all day? Drinking too much milk or not enough water? We’ll explore how feeding behaviors may be impacting their nutrition and how small shifts can lead to meaningful changes.
- Medical, Allergy & Digestive ConsiderationsWe consider the role of food allergies, intolerances, bloodwork, GI issues, and medical diagnoses that may influence your child’s nutritional needs. Whether it’s constipation, reflux, or complex feeding history, we’ll factor it into your care plan.

Meet Soleina: Pediatric Dietitian & Feeding Therapist
I’m a mom and clinician who’s worked in complex feeding for nearly a decade—and I know real life is messy.
I know feeding challenges happen in real homes, with real families—and that’s exactly where we’ll work together.
What’s the difference between feeding therapy and nutrition counselling?
Great question! Feeding therapy focuses on helping children develop the skills and confidence to eat things like trying new textures, self-feeding, and reducing mealtime stress. Nutrition counselling focuses more on what and how much a child is eating to meet their nutrition needs. At Every Eater, sessions often blend both!
Where are you located? Do you offer virtual services?
Yes, I support families across BC virtually and offer the following clinic and in-home options:
In-Clinic: In North Vancouver and South Surrey
In-Home (subject to travel fee): In Vancouver, North Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, and the Tri-City areas.
Do I need a referral to see you?
No referral needed — you can reach out directly anytime. If your child is also working with other healthcare providers, I’m happy to collaborate!
Is this covered by insurance?
It depends on your plan. Many extended health benefits cover Registered Dietitian services. Many companies also offer an “expense account” that can be used to cover services from registered healthcare providers. Check with your plan to confirm coverage.
Do you offer packages?
Yes, we have tailored packages depending on your child’s need. Please visit our packages page for more information.
How many sessions will we need?
Every child and family is unique — for some, one or two sessions is enough for a confidence boost. For others, ongoing support helps build skills over time. We’ll figure out what makes the most sense for you.
What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee.
Do you offer ASD Funding?
Unfortunately, Registered Dietitians are not eligible to be on the RASP list at this time. Soleina’s services are eligible for coverage by AFU for children 6 to 18 years.
