Meet Soleina: Pediatric Dietitian & Feeding Therapist
I’m a mom and clinician who’s worked in complex feeding for nearly a decade—and I know real life is messy.
I know feeding challenges happen in real homes, with real families, and that’s exactly where we’ll work together.
What’s the difference between feeding therapy and nutrition counselling?
Great question! Feeding therapy focuses on helping children develop the skills and confidence to eat things like trying new textures, self-feeding, and reducing mealtime stress. Nutrition counselling focuses more on what and how much a child is eating to meet their nutrition needs. At Every Eater, sessions often blend both!
Where are you located? Do you offer virtual services?
Yes, I support families across BC virtually and offer the following clinic and in-home options:
In-Clinic: In North Vancouver and South Surrey
In-Home (subject to travel fee): In Vancouver, North Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, and the Tri-City areas.
Do I need a referral to see you?
No referral needed — you can reach out directly anytime. If your child is also working with other healthcare providers, I’m happy to collaborate!
Is this covered by insurance?
It depends on your plan. Many extended health benefits cover Registered Dietitian services. Many companies also offer an “expense account” that can be used to cover services from registered healthcare providers. Check with your plan to confirm coverage.
Do you offer packages?
Yes, we have tailored packages depending on your child’s need. Please visit our packages page for more information.
How many sessions will we need?
Every child and family is unique — for some, one or two sessions is enough for a confidence boost. For others, ongoing support helps build skills over time. We’ll figure out what makes the most sense for you.
What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee.
Do you offer ASD Funding?
Unfortunately, Registered Dietitians are not eligible to be on the RASP list at this time. Soleina’s services are eligible for coverage by AFU for children 6 to 18 years.
