Every Eater, Every Stage: Feeding Support for Your Little One
Work 1:1 with pediatric dietitian/feeding therapist in BC
We help every eater develop the skills they need for happy, healthy mealtimes.
About the service
Building confident eaters with responsive, relationship-based feeding support—because feeding is a skill that develops over time.
Every child learns to eat a little differently, and that’s okay.
Whether you’re starting solids, working through picky eating, or supporting a child with feeding delays, we’ll help build the skills, confidence, and positive mealtime experiences that last a lifetime.

Does this sound like you?
Let’s Get StartedIf you’re worried about...
My baby is struggling to transition from milk to solids.
My child refuses certain textures or whole food groups.
I’m not sure how or when to start solids.
Mealtimes are stressful for me and my child.
I’m not sure if my child’s feeding is typical or something to worry about.
Feeding is a journey, not a race — and every little step forward counts.
If you’re ready for support that grows with you, we’d love to help.
What’s Included:
- Growth that tells a storyWe look at more than just percentiles. By tracking weight, height, and growth trends over time, we get a clearer picture of how your child is developing and whether their nutrition is meeting their unique needs.
- What (and how) your child eatsThrough a mealtime observation, we take a deep dive into your child’s daily intake, feeding routines, and mealtime environment. Whether it’s breast or bottle, spoon or finger foods, we’ll look at what’s working, what’s not, and where there’s room to grow.
- Assessment of feeding skills & developmental readinessFrom oral-motor skills to self-feeding, we assess how your child is physically and developmentally prepared to eat. If they’re gagging, refusing, or avoiding certain textures, we’ll dig into the “why” and help move things forward with care.
- Review of medical, sensory & family contextWe look at the full picture: medical history, allergies, digestion, sensory responses, and family dynamics. Feeding doesn’t happen in isolation, and we consider everything that could be impacting your child’s relationship with food.

Meet Soleina: Pediatric Dietitian & Feeding Therapist
I’m a mom and clinician who’s worked in complex feeding for nearly a decade—and I know real life is messy.
I know feeding challenges happen in real homes, with real families—and that’s exactly where we’ll work together.
What’s the difference between feeding therapy and nutrition counselling?
Great question! Feeding therapy focuses on helping children develop the skills and confidence to eat things like trying new textures, self-feeding, and reducing mealtime stress. Nutrition counselling focuses more on what and how much a child is eating to meet their nutrition needs. At Every Eater, sessions often blend both!
Where are you located? Do you offer virtual services?
Yes, I support families across BC virtually and offer the following clinic and in-home options:
In-Clinic: In North Vancouver and South Surrey
In-Home (subject to travel fee): In Vancouver, North Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, and the Tri-City areas.
Do I need a referral to see you?
No referral needed — you can reach out directly anytime. If your child is also working with other healthcare providers, I’m happy to collaborate!
Is this covered by insurance?
It depends on your plan. Many extended health benefits cover Registered Dietitian services. Many companies also offer an “expense account” that can be used to cover services from registered healthcare providers. Check with your plan to confirm coverage.
Do you offer packages?
Yes, we have tailored packages depending on your child’s need. Please visit our packages page for more information.
How many sessions will we need?
Every child and family is unique — for some, one or two sessions is enough for a confidence boost. For others, ongoing support helps build skills over time. We’ll figure out what makes the most sense for you.
What is your cancellation policy?
Life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee.
Do you offer ASD Funding?
Unfortunately, Registered Dietitians are not eligible to be on the RASP list at this time. Soleina’s services are eligible for coverage by AFU for children 6 to 18 years.
