Staci has worked with infants and toddlers and their families for over 20 years. Most of
this work was in a home visiting setting working with an interdisciplinary team of
Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and other early childhood practitioners.
Staci has extensive experience working with a wide range of feeding issues including
picky eating, difficulty progressing textures, food allergies and intolerances, tube feeding
management and weaning, and growth issues. Compassion, empathy, an emphasis on
realistic solutions, and no judgment are hallmarks of Staci’s approach to working with
families. Staci also has experience working with older children, teens, and adults but
little ones are her passion.

What my professional bio missed about Staci:
My two adult kids are living proof that with a supportive approach, kids can overcome their picky eating and become adventurous eaters (and that thumb suckers eventually stop!).
I love to garden and just generally dig in the dirt. It is in my DNA as I come from a long line of farmers and ranchers, and gardeners and home canners.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, and paddle boarding.
I worked as a chef at a Guest Ranch before getting my Master’s degree. A favorite of the guests was my Grandma’s Special Rice Krispies recipe.
- 1/4 cup butter
- 40 Marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup chocolate chip
In a large saucepan, melt butter and marshmallows, stirring frequently. Add peanut butter and chocolate chips and stir until blended. Add Rice Krispies and mix well. Pour into buttered 9×13 pan (or smaller for thicker squares) and pat down well. Let cool and cut into squares.
